IP Vault trial agreement
This agreement is between Almog Shachar, trading as rev3rse ("we") and the organisation on whose behalf you accept it ("you"). By accepting it in the IP Vault console you confirm that you may bind that organisation.
1. The service
IP Vault seals the assets your app ships (models, data, content) in your own build, and issues the key that opens them to installations of your app that you license. The service you get under this agreement is the hosted key service, its developer console and API, and the tools we publish for it, in early access.
The free plan includes one workspace per developer and up to 10,000 active devices per workspace per calendar month. A device is active in a month if it activates or renews in that month. Past the limit, further devices are refused until the next month. We may change these limits with 30 days' notice.
2. What it does and does not do
IP Vault keeps the key that opens your assets out of your package and gives it only to registered, attested installations. It does not make copying impossible: a device that is allowed to open an asset can, with enough skill and effort, be made to give it up. The documentation describes what is and is not protected; read it before you rely on IP Vault.
3. Your responsibilities
- Your app, your assets and your end users are yours. You decide who receives a licence and you give your end users any notices and obtain any consents the law requires.
- Keep your CI tokens secret and revoke any you suspect leaked. Never put one in an app.
- Seal assets in your own build. The service never needs, and you must not send it, an asset in the clear.
- Do not use IP Vault for anything unlawful, to distribute malware, to protect content you have no right to distribute, or to attack, probe or overload the service or other customers' data. Security research on the service needs our written permission first (almogs@rev3rse.dev).
4. Availability and changes
Early access comes without a service level. We may change the service, suspend a workspace that breaches this agreement or endangers the service or others, and end the free plan with 30 days' notice. Apps already shipped keep working offline until their current licences' leases end.
5. Your data
The privacy notice describes what we hold and why. You may export your workspace's audit log at any time. When you close your workspace, we stop issuing licences for it and delete its data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
6. Fees
The free plan and early access are free of charge. Paid plans, when offered, will be under separate terms.
7. Warranties and liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to USD 100. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Term, changes and law
This agreement lasts while you have a workspace. Either party may end it at any time; you, by closing your workspace, and we, with 30 days' notice, or at once for a serious breach. A new version of this agreement applies once you accept it in the console; until then, you cannot create a workspace. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
